Reneé Spurlin
Sr. Account Manager

Reneé Spurlin is a senior account manager with communications 21 and serves as the lead on accounts in several industries, including food and beverage, transportation, professional services and architectural design. Reneé brings an array of public relations, marketing and event planning experience and education to c21.

Prior to joining communications 21, Reneé worked in the marketing department of Faneuil Hall Marketplace, one of the top tourist destinations in Boston, MA. In this position, she was responsible for advertising, collateral development, merchant relations and event planning. She also coordinated the annual Marketplace Lighting Ceremony, which brings thousands of visitors to the Marketplace each year to celebrate the arrival of the holiday season. Prior to this, Reneé was an intern at a Boston-based public relations firm, where she conducted media relations and cause-marketing campaigns for clients, including Yoplait and Betty Crocker.

In her spare time, Reneé can often be found planning getaways to destinations near and far. While traditional beaches and mountains are childhood favorites, she also enjoys less common locales, including the Corn Palace in Mitchell, South Dakota, and the Dr. Pepper Museum in Waco, Texas.

Reneé graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a bachelor's degree in communication and a minor in business. Recently, she completed her master's in corporate public relations at Boston University's College of Communication. She is a member of the Atlanta chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA), where she currently serves as the educational events chair of the Young Professionals committee.
