Company History
Inspired by other young entrepreneurs during a trip to Australia, Sharon Goldmacher founded communications 21® (c21®) in 1992 as a full-service marketing PR firm that specializes in brand development, product launch campaigns, media relations, executive exposure and special events; as well as creating marketing materials, Web sites and social media programs for clients. The company is committed to "Remarkable service. Real results."
After its first year, the company won the DeKalb Chamber's Stargazer award for "Small Business Start-Up of the Year." In 1994, Ms. Goldmacher won the 1994 Young Advertising Professional Award presented by the Atlanta Ad Club, and was named a public relations professional "Rising All Star" by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. Since 1992, communications 21 has accumulated more than 60 awards for its client work.
With an experienced team of talented professionals, communications 21 works with a variety of clients in a range of industries. c21 is agile, responsive and takes pride in quickly meeting the needs of its clients. c21 works closely with its clients to help them achieve their bottom-line goals, and as a small firm, is committed to their success — for without satisfied clients, we would not exist.
Making a difference is our mantra, and the c21 team not only participates in leadership roles at professional organizations to help keep us on top of our game, but we also donate more than 300 hours of our professional time annually to local non-profit organizations. Our 2008-2009 pro bono recipient is the Atlanta Botanical Garden, and in 2009-2010 c21 will volunteer its time to develop and execute the social media strategy for the Atlanta chapter of the American Marketing Association.
