The c21 Team – Out and About

A number of c21 team members will be out and about speaking on all things marketing PR and interactive related in the upcoming months:

PRSAOn March 18, Sharon Goldmacher and Elyse Hammett will present to the local north Florida chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) on social media before travelling to Washington, D.C. on March 25 for the national PRSA Association/Nonprofit Section Seminar titled "Repositioning and Thriving in the New Normal." Sharon and Elyse will speak to nonprofit marketers on how to use social media to increase communication and engagement among target audiences, and will teach attendees how to use the latest marketing PR and interactive tactics to create donor/member loyalty, attract new prospects and communicate with current members.


Elyse and Marlena Reed will speak at Clark Atlanta University's Public Relations Student Society of America Professional Development Conference titled "PReparing for the R.A.C.E." on March 23. The goal of the conference is to prepare students with the tools, industry insight and professional connections necessary to successfully transition into the public relations workforce. Elyse and Marlena will speak specifically about social media and media relations.

New Comm Forum 2010In April, Sharon and Marlena will travel to San Mateo, Calif., to participate in the New Comm Forum 2010, a premier conference focused on the power of social media and new communications tools and technologies. Sharon and Marlena will be presenting "Who Owns Social Media? Everyone in the Company," with the goal of teaching attendess how to establish, manage and maintain an organic yet strategic social media program.

American Public Gardens AssociationSharon and Elyse also will participate in the 2010 American Public Garden Association Conference in June in Atlanta with their "Social Media – It's a Jungle Out There" presentation. They will help attendees, who market the country's botanical gardens, to navigate the maze of social media platforms and determine which will work best to reach their target audiences. Sabina Carr, marketing and communications director – Atlanta Botantical Garden, will present alongside c21. Sharon, Elyse and Sabina will illustrate how social media can drive awareness, grow membership, be used as a feedback tool to improve marketing programs and track results.

c21 placed Kim Tanalgo-Minshew, a client at Cousins Properties, on the PRSA Georgia Chapter panel to discuss her experiences, best practices and lessons learned from implementing and using social media. Representatives from the Georgia Aquarium and Emory University will join Kim on the panel.
