Client Spotlight: Angie Leccese, Cousins Properties
If there's a glass ceiling for some women, Angie Leccese has found a way to break through it. Angie, who has been with Cousins Properties, a leading diversified real estate company, for more than 10 years, was recently promoted to senior vice president, corporate marketing and brand management for the company.
Angie began with Cousins Properties as a corporate marketing manager in 1998 and by 2004 became the vice president of retail marketing. In 2007, she was promoted to vice president of brand management, and is now responsible for corporate marketing and brand management company-wide.
She is a dedicated marketer, always looking for innovation and creativity, and in fact, gave c21 the green light to help Cousins Properties' The Avenue launch a Facebook promotion to build its fan base to more than 1,000 in just three weeks (which we did, and are an AMY Award finalist!). The Avenue Forsyth, one of eight outdoor lifestyle centers in the Southeast, also was recently named a 2008 MAX Award finalist by the Atlanta Business Chronicle and Georgia State University, for a unique high school fashion show called "The Avenue Walk Off."
Other accolades include Angie's selection for the 2007/2008 Leadership Program, being named a MAXI Finalist from the International Council of Shopping Centers for The Avenue, and being named to Cobb Life Magazine's the Top 10 Under 40 in 2007.
Prior to joining Cousins Properties, Angie was a marketing specialist for Atlanta-based Colliers Cauble and Co., and was in property management for the Atlanta Decorative Arts Center (ADAC).
Leccese received her Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business from the University of Georgia and minored in Japanese.
