Insights: The Buzz Around the c21 Office

c21 continues its more than 15 years of success with awards, an Ivy League intern, exciting new projects and an upcoming blog launch.

First, c21's philosophy -- “Remarkable Service. Real Results” -- helped us garner several recent award wins, including:

  • c21's 2007 AwardsThe Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) recognized c21’s public relations campaign for the 2007 NCAA® Men’s Final Four® hosted in Atlanta in the Integrated Communications Program for a Nonprofit category.
  • c21’s creative campaigns for Oldcastle Architectural won recognition from PRSA and the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). c21’s integrated efforts surrounding Oldcastle’s presence at the 2007 International Builder’s Show won the Gold Flame in IABC’s Trade Show category, while the Ugliest Patio Contest picked up an honor in PRSA’s Creative Tactics division.
  • In PRSA’s Integrated Communications category, c21 won for its multifaceted marketing campaign for several regional dairy associations, which included media tours, Iron Chef competitions, NFL partnerships and podcasts.  The podcasts also won in the IABC podcasting category.
  • PRSA and IABC both recognized c21’s strong media relations efforts for Street of Dreams’ 2007 Atlanta home show, which garnered more than $625,000 in ad value.

The year also began with a new intern at c21.  Marianne Schuck is a Yale University student majoring in humanities. Before joining c21, Marianne interned at CNN’s international news desk headquarters and for Animal Fair Magazine in New York City.  At Yale, she is an active leader at her college, where she guides tours in three languages, serves on the executive board of the Opera Society and leads FOCUS on New Haven, a community service orientation for Yale sophomores.

Additionally, c21 has added new clients to its roster and is developing exciting new strategies for existing clients.

  • Martin Snow, a law firm based in Macon, Ga., enlisted c21 to develop a visual identity for the firm, as well as create a professional comprehensive brochure.
  • c21 is overhauling The Housing Group's Web site to create one that is more reflective of THG’s green building philosophy and is easier to navigate.
  • Homefinderc21 managed a media tour for Kellogg’s to promote Nutrient Standard Menu Planning. Kellogg’s nutrition expert, Mary Jo Cutler, was recently featured in several newspapers, as well as on Boston’s WCVB-TV and WAGA-TV in Atlanta.
  • Centex made a strong impression in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s Homefinder section. c21 secured three separate stories in the January 6, 2008, issue, resulting in an ad value of almost $20,000.
