c21 has launched a branded Facebook page to provide clients, media, vendors and friends another way to communicate and share resources. The agency uses the Facebook page to share client news and results, agency updates and valuable information - from public relations tips and vendor recommendations to the latest interactive marketing trends. Cousins Affordable Luxuries Facebook Contest article
The May 2009 issue of Chain Store Age magazine, a specialty retail publication, includes an article featuring the ShopTheAvenue Facebook page that c21 helped develop for Cousins Properties' The Avenues during the 2008 holiday shopping season (click here to read more details about the project in the Winter 2009 communicator). The Chain Store Age article talks about the success of the page and the Affordable Luxuries Facebook contest, and how Cousins worked with c21 to complete and build upon the project. Betsy Dietsch's CNN appearance
Betsy Dietsch, a registered dietitian and program account manager for the Georgia division of the Southeast Dairy Association (SUDIA), appeared on the CNN segment "Feeling Good on a Budget," which aired on Saturday, April 4. A result of c21's media relations skills, Betsy's interview addressed maintaining a healthy diet while on a "staycation," and eating nutrient rich meals on a budget. According to Cision, CNN has an average 86,285,000 subscribers, supporting SUDIA's goal of promoting healthy dairy foods throughout the Southeast (and this time, throughout the nation!). Martin Snow Branding and Web site Project
New client alert! c21 has been retained by Martin Snow, a prestigious law firm in Macon, Ga., to update the company's Web site, improve search engine optimization and refine the firm's logo and brand. The goals for the project are to educate the firm's potential clients on its robust experience and comprehensive capabilities by updating the Web site, and create a style guide to ensure consistent use and reproduction of the logo in collateral materials.
Ruth Mitcham – PRSA GA's April Chapter Champion
Ruth Mitcham was the recipient of the April 2009 Chapter Champion Award for her exceptional volunteer work with the PRSA|GA chapter. She recently served as chair of the development team for this year's Real World PR conference - her second year successfully leading the event's fundraising efforts. In 2008, Ruth supported the chapter's Awards Celebration as a member of the Silent Auction committee, in addition to her work with the Real World conference. Congratulations, Ruth!
AMA Conference
As board members for the American Marketing Association (AMA) Atlanta chapter, Sharon Goldmacher and Jessica Covello attended AMA's 2009 Leadership Summit in Chicago, held April 24- 26. The conference included networking events, programming and leadership classes, and discussions about what individual chapters could do to grow membership. Sharon was a featured speaker, taught a communications course and moderated a social media panel during the summit. Both Sharon and Jess apply what they learned to benefit the AMA Atlanta chapter.
Carol Rich moderates AMA YP Luncheon
Carol Rich served as moderator for the AMA Young Professional's April 28 luncheon, which centered on "netiquette," a set of standards for conducting networking. Steven Piejak of LinkedIn and Mariette Edwards, owner of and executive coach at Star Maker, discussed best practices for online and offline networking when it comes to career opportunities, business leads and professional growth.
