Quarterly Meeting
 The Join
us for an exciting quarterly meeting planned for
Thursday, April 23rd at the
Hyatt Regency in Atlanta
Downtown. Network with industry professionals

9:30 a.m. and be ready for a
fast-paced, informative meeting
beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Hyatt

GFA & GREENCO
FINALISTS IN THE ABC ENVIRONMENTAL
AWARDS
The
Green Foodservice Alliance and Greenco
Environmental , a GFA Supporter, were
selected as finalists in the Atlanta
Business Chronicle's Environmental
Awards Luncheon last week. The GFA was
honored in the Green Reach category and Greenco
in the Envention
category.

ZERO
WASTE ZONE FILMED BY
CNN!!!
Wow ~ what a thrill to receive an e-mail
from a CNN producer saying they are excited to
do a story on the Zero Waste Zone ~ Downtown
Atlanta. It was an incredible experience
working with Erin Levin, CNN producer, and
William Walker, CNN photographer. The
story is scheduled to air next week and a news
alert will be sent when we learn the time.
It was Sharon Goldmacher with communications 21's amazing
public relations talent that made the CNN
connection.

CHATTAHOOCHEE NATURE CENTER EARTH DAY
FEST
 Teach your
kids about important environment issues and
increase the community's awareness all while
having a blast at Earth
Day Kids Fest '09. To be held at the
Chattahoochee Nature Center on April 18,
2009 from 10 AM to 3
PM. The whole family will enjoy many
ways to connect to nature and learn fun new ways
to help the
planet.
