c21 Celebrates 15th Anniversary with
Promotions and New Personnel

This year marks the 15th anniversary of communications 21, the marketing, PR and design firm founded by Sharon Goldmacher to provide remarkable service and real results to its clients.  The sleek new logo and brand identity is just the start of a year full of commemorating accomplishments.

"As one of Atlanta's longest-operating independent, woman-owned marketing public relations agencies, we know that our success depends on satisfied clients - and that means continually working to provide exceptional results,” said Sharon Goldmacher - president, communications 21.  "This anniversary is the perfect opportunity to show our appreciation to all the clients who have supported us over the years."

January not only ushered in c21's 15th anniversary, but also positive news for communications 21 personnel.  On Jan. 3, c21 welcomed Elyse Hammett, APR, as vice president of client services.  In her new role, she is responsible for a combination of client service, new business acquisition and management.  Elyse brings more than 15 years of award-winning public relations experience to the c21 team, including extensive tenures at Troutman Sanders LLP, BellSouth and Emory Healthcare.  Click here to learn more about Elyse

Several c21 team members also were promoted within the firm.  Renee Spurlin was promoted to Senior Account Manager, and Monica Byrne and Jessica Covello were  promoted to Account Manager II.  Their new roles come with increased responsibility and additional opportunities to provide "Remarkable Service. Real Results." to c21's diverse clients.

c21 hasn't lost its community focus either.  Most recently, Monica Byrne became a member of the American Marketing Association's Atlanta board of directors and co-chair of the AMY Awards, the association's annual awards ceremony, which took place on March 29.  In addition, Sharon Goldmacher chaired public relations for the Atlanta Local Organizing Committee responsible for the 2007 NCAA Men's Final Four in Atlanta,  March 30 - April 2, 2007.  It truly was March Madness®!
