Client Spotlight: David Bertram, NCAA Football

NCAA Youth FootballDavid Bertram really knows college football.  As executive director of NCAA Football, David oversees day-to-day operations and expansion of the NCAA Football brand. The college football fans at c21 teamed with David to promote NCAA Football’s Youth Initiative, which strives to promote the sport among youth and encourage them to pursue a higher education.

David began working for IMG College (previously HOST Communications), the managing organization of NCAA Football, in 1999 as an event manager. Prior to joining IMG College, David began his career as a national account manager for Fortune Brand subsidiary, Aristokraft Inc. He received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Kentucky.

NCAA Football is a coalition of the American Football Coaches Association, the Collegiate Commissioners Association, the Football Bowl Association, the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics, the National Collegiate Athletics Association and the National Football Foundation. IMG College has served as NCAA Football’s managing partner since 1997, and David occupies an ex officio seat on the board of directors for NCAA Football. In the past 10 years, the organization has seen a 60 percent increase in revenue – in total, more than $10 million has been invested in national promotional platforms for NCAA Football including public service announcements, radio and TV programs, the official Web site, youth initiatives and research projects.
