c21 Celebrates 15th Anniversary
with New Orleans-Themed Soiree
Did you know that just 15 years ago the Dow was at 3,000? That Wal-Mart was in a battle with K-Mart for the number two spot behind Sears? And that Google, eBay and iPods didn’t exist? Well, communications 21 did exist and celebrated its 15th anniversary New Orleans style at The Trolley Barn, located in historic Inman Park.
The party was a night to remember for almost 200 clients, family and friends of c21, who enjoyed authentic New Orleans jambalaya, Cajun fried turkey and Crunk-tini’s, c21’s signature cocktail. And to commemorate the company's rebranding efforts, the c21 team donned signature red shoes and boas.
No Big Easy style party would be complete without a little voodoo, and the Trolley Barn's second level was transformed into the c21 Voodoo Lounge, where guests could gain insights into their personality from a handwriting analyst or see into their future through tarot card readings.
Trivia about 1992, the year c21 was founded, kept the evening interactive and lively, and c21 client Bryan Wetzel of Real Guys…Real Golf won his choice of New Orleans-themed DVD movies for knowing the number of men who’ve worked at c21 (2), the team that won the Super Bowl (the Dallas Cowboys) and the age of the youngest athlete in the Olympics that year (11 years old). Other prize giveaways included compilation jazz CDs to support the Katrina Relief effort, and a grand prize of dinner for two at Emeril's restaurant and a night's stay at the Grand Hyatt in Buckhead.
Sharon Goldmacher, president of c21, presented the company's longest standing client, Cheryl Hayn of the Southeast Dairy Association, with a gift of crystal to commemorate their 15 year relationship.
c21 and guests also made donations that totaled more than $1,300 to the American Library Association Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund to help rebuild libraries in the Gulf Region.
After 15 successful years and a party to remember, there is only one task left – start planning for the 21st anniversary celebration.
Mark your calendars!
